Our Honeymoon in Sri Lanka

We contacted BH Lanka Tours about our planned Honeymoon trip to Sri Lanka. Our inquiry was handled by Jessica and she did a great job in pulling an itinerary that ensures we cover all the sites we were intended to visit. She also organised some wonderful activities for us. We are very happy about all the accommodation that we stayed. Most importantly there was good communication between hotels and BH Lanka Tours as our tour agent; hence we had been looked after with so much care by the hotels. Our driver was Buddhika and he was fantastic. Nothing was too difficult with him and always accommodated our needs. He speaks good English and a very safe driver. Believe me; in Sir Lanka you want a safe driver! We both are very glad that we chose BH Lanka Tours as our tour operator in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much! Keep it up your good work.

BH Lanka Tours were fantastic, from the beginning when I enquired (about a completely bespoke tour) to the end. They ensured that the tour was run smoothly taking us to all the important sights and ensuring we were safe and happy throughout. Nothing was too much and our guide Nishantha was fantastic! He was a true gentleman, very attentive and happy everyday. We wanted to make our trip perfect and did. The hotels they selected were beautiful, far exceeding what I expected! The safari's we did were great. Backwater Lodge near Yala National Park was the most wonderful hotel & the safari from there was INCREDIBLE!!! I Sri Lanka is the most wonderful country!

Best decision we ever made

We wanted to get the most out of our trip to Sri Lanka so we decided to book a tour, the Grand tour package had all the spots we wanted to visit and we were not disappointed. We had a bit of trouble with our flights before leaving which we communicated to BH Lanka tours and were able to accommodate us (even last minute) with no issues at all. All of their responses were very quick and they made the trip very smooth for us. The tour itself packs a lot in so you really get to make the most out of your trip and visit lots of interesting places. The wildlife was fantastic and whilst we didn't go to the elephant orphanage we saw plenty of elephants in the wild on the safari as well as peacocks, jackals, water buffalo, crocodiles, turtles and so much more. Our tour guide Dana was brilliant - he often pulled over to show us interesting things such as a massive water monitor, buying us fresh king coconuts and other things he thought we would like. He always listened to us if we were hungry, tired or anything else. He also managed to time activities really well so when its too hot to be walking around in 30C we would be doing something else. So any walks to temples were done when it was cooler which made it much more enjoyable. We felt the tour was really good value for money and took away the stress (we met some people who did it themselves who wished they had booked a tour). The whole time we felt really well looked after - Dana definitely made sure we were hydrated! :) Would recommend the tour and visiting Sri Lanka to anyone. It's a really beautiful place and is filled with wildlife and friendly people. It was a very special trip and we hope to return.

There is a single supplement fee for solo travellers. However, please contact us if you wish to share accommodation with another travel mate. You will be sharing a double room (twin beds) with the same genders. This option is NOT guaranteed for all departures thus it's subject to the availability.

Best time to visit Sri Lanka?

There is no particularly the best time to visit Sri Lanka. It is a tropical country and a year-round destination with two monsoon seasons. The western and southern areas experience their monsoon season from May to July while the northern and eastern areas are affected by the monsoon between October and November.

The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is an official authorization for a Short Visit to Sri Lanka issued via an online system. You need ETA if you wish to visit Sri Lanka as a Tourist, on Business or on Transit. No passport copies, documents or photographs are required to obtain ETA. It will cost USD $30. However, during the sometime of the year government offers FREE visa for tourists.

    BH Lanka Tours allows you to make 4 free date changes, as long as the change is made at least 10 days before the start of the tour.

  • Transfer as credit to Future Tours

    BH Lanka Tours allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform BH Lanka Tours, 10 days before departure.

  • Low Deposit

    BH Lanka Tours requires a minimum deposit of 100 GBP per person or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 20 days before departure.

  • Cancellation Policy
